Welcome to JoyLife! These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of JoyLife, a social networking platform operated by JoyLife Inc. ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our website, mobile applications, or services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the Services.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Services. By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you meet the eligibility requirements in your jurisdiction. If you are using the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Services, you may need to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information as necessary. You are solely responsible for your User Content and agree that it will not:

  • Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights (e.g., copyrights, trademarks, privacy, or publicity rights).

We reserve the right to remove or edit any User Content at our discretion, without notice.

5. Intellectual Property

The Services, including all text, graphics, logos, and software, are owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to access and use the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms. No other rights are granted.

6. Third-Party Content and Services

The Services may contain links to third-party websites or services, including advertisements or embedded content. We do not endorse or control such third parties and are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or availability. Your interactions with third parties are at your own risk.

7. Monetization and Advertisements

JoyLife participates in monetization programs, including but not limited to Google's AdSense or other ad networks, to support the Services. By using the Services, you agree to the display of advertisements and targeted content based on your activity. You must comply with all applicable monetization policies, including Google's policies for publishers (available at https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/48182).

Specifically, in accordance with Google Ads policies:

  • We prohibit illegal activities, such as the promotion of counterfeit goods, dangerous products, or adult content.

  • Advertisements must not be deceptive, misleading, or placed in a way that harms user experience (e.g., no pop-ups that interfere with navigation).

  • We do not allow the sale or promotion of personal information or sensitive data.

  • Content violating Google's webmaster guidelines (e.g., thin content, cloaking, or doorway pages) is prohibited.

  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate monetization for violations.

If you are a content creator or advertiser, you must ensure your materials comply with all relevant policies to avoid invalid clicks, impressions, or other fraudulent activity.

8. Privacy

Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and disclose personal information. By using the Services, you consent to our data practices as outlined therein.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, for any reason, including for violations of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases, and you must delete any cached or stored content.

10. Disclaimers

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Services, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability shall not exceed $100.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your violation of these Terms or your User Content.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco, California. You waive any right to a jury trial.

We may update these Terms at any time by posting the revised version on the Services. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice.
